Pointing Readers to See the Beauty of Doing Life with Jesus

About

Hi, my name is Ewa. Welcome to my blog Beautyoluwa, a space that points readers to see the beauty of doing life with Jesus. I’m Nigerian-American, a wife, mom, and most importantly a Christian. The name Beautyoluwa comes from “Ewaoluwa,” which means “Beauty of God” in the Yoruba language. My name has compelled me to live to understand what the Beauty of God is and this blog is a space to document those different lessons.

When I think about the Beauty of God, I think of Psalms 27:4: One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. God’s beauty is worth beholding, reflecting, and seeing in every situation life brings. My desire is that these documented faith lessons ultimately point you back to seeing more of God. I hope you stick around and eventually subscribe!

Thank you for visiting!

Welcome to Beautyoluwa!

What has taken away your reason? What has weakened your vision? (Job 15:12)
I was reading the book of Job a while ago and one of Job’s friends, Eliphaz, asks him: “Is God’s comfort too little for you? Is his gentle word not enough? What has taken away your reason? What has weakened your vision?” (Job 15:11-12)
There is so much power in the words we say and agree with 💚
